What we had tested — and what it says
Radiance Powder was submitted to Dermatest GmbH in Germany for dermatological review. We want to be precise about what was examined there, because the distinction matters more than it might first appear.
What was tested: skin tolerance
The review looked at how the skin of the participants responded. Neither intolerance reactions suggestive of irritation nor allergic reactions were detected. On that basis the product received the top mark and the Certificate of Excellence for sensitive, irritation-prone skin.
What that means — and what it does not
It means the formula was well tolerated. That is a statement about tolerance. It is not a statement that the product treats, cures or prevents any skin condition, and we no longer present it as one.
Why this page used to say something different
An earlier version of this article carried percentage figures and before-and-after photographs of participants. We have taken them down. A thirty-day review with twenty participants is not a basis for efficacy claims — and for a food supplement, claims of that kind are not permitted under EU law regardless of the evidence behind them.
What we do say
Radiance Powder is a food supplement, not a medicine. Under Regulation (EC) 1924/2006 only the health claims authorised in Regulation (EU) 432/2012 may be used. These are the ones that apply to what is in the formula, and you will find these and nothing beyond them on our product pages:
- Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity
- Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin
- Riboflavin and niacin contribute to the maintenance of normal skin
- Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin
- Six B-vitamins contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
A food supplement is no substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. If you have a persistent skin condition, please speak to your doctor.
